Sirolo

Sirolo is a charming seaside village located in the Conero Park, in the province of Ancona. It is part of the Conero Riviera and is known as 'the pearl of the Adriatic' for the beauty of its historic centre and surrounding landscape.

The mediaeval village is built around the characteristic small panoramic square that overlooks the sea and offers a breathtaking view of the entire Riviera. The cobbled alleys, stone houses and flights of steps make the centre of Sirolo very picturesque. Sirolo is famous for its Blue Flag beaches, in particular the Due Sorelle beach, so called because of the presence of twin rocks a few metres from the shore, where the sea water is crystal clear.

Other beautiful beaches are those of San Michele and Urbani. Several hiking trails depart from Sirolo to explore the Conero Park and reach scenic spots such as the old Abbey of San Pietro located on Mount Conero. Sirolo is the ideal destination for a holiday of sea, nature, food and wine and relaxation, a jewel of the Marche region worth discovering.
